Install: Thread the valve into the oil drain port gently by hand to prevent cross-threading. Tighten with a crescent wrench on the main body of the valve an additional 1\/8 to 1\/4 turn past hand tight (or to 44 ft-lbs). Do not use a wrench on the head of the nipple outlet. 3. Close \u0026amp; Fill: Close the valve firmly by turning the control lever clockwise until it stops and is perpendicular to the oil outlet. It will click into the recess and lock.
