Standard Installation 1. Prep: Clean the oil pan port surface completely after draining old oil. 2. Install Adapter: Thread the ADP-201 adapter into the oil pan port carefully by hand to prevent cross-threading. Tighten securely to the recommended torque specification of 44 ft-lbs using an appropriate wrench. 3. Mount Valve: Thread your 3/4-14 NPT Fumoto valve into the newly installed adapter by hand. Fully tighten the valve past hand tight using a crescent wrench directly on the valve body. Ensure the valve remains adequately clear of the ground.
