Common Applications • Highly recommended and commonly used on **Freightliner** and **Kenworth** semi-truck commercial engines. • Ideal for industrial engines, generators, and heavy machinery. • Warning: Due to the integrated hose nipple, this valve is only intended for vehicles with high ground clearance. NOT recommended for low ground clearance passenger vehicles.
Standard Installation 1. Prepare: Remove the original drain plug from the oil pan and drain the old oil completely. Thoroughly clean the drain port surface area before installing. 2. Install: Thread the T201NS valve into the oil drain port cleanly by hand to ensure no cross-threading occurs. Fully tighten using a crescent wrench directly on the body of the valve 1/8 to 1/4 turn past hand tight (or up to the recommended 44 ft-lbs). Never apply a wrench or force on the head of the nipple outlet. 3. Close & Fill: Close the valve firmly by turning the control lever clockwise until it stops and rests completely perpendicular to the oil outlet. The lever will click and lock into its recess. Install a lever clip (optional) and refill the engine with new oil.
Operation • To Open: Remove the lever clip if installed, lift the control lever firmly upward to unlock it from its safety recess, and rotate it counter-clockwise 90°. • To Close: Turn the control lever firmly clockwise until it stops and drops automatically back into its safety locking recess slot (perpendicular to the outlet). The lever should not rotate without being lifted upward first. Re-install the lever clip.
